The Garage Limited is looking for a Marketing Assistant Intern with a global mindset. We don’t just want to be the best agency in Hong Kong; we want to be on the radar of brands in China, Europe, and beyond. If you’re a strategic thinker who loves exploring different cultures and digital platforms, we want you to help us tell our story to the world.

The Mission

Your goal is to promote our company and latest platform. You will assist in building our brand presence across diverse markets, learning how to adapt our message for different regions and choosing the right channels to reach potential global partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Cross-Border Promotion: Help develop and execute marketing strategies tailored for specific regions, including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Europe and other potential target regions.

• Channel Management: Learn to navigate and manage a diverse range of platforms:

  • China: Exploring Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu), WeChat, and Xinpianchang.

  • Hong Kong & West: Managing LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.

• Content Localization: Work with our copywriters and designers to ensure our agency’s portfolio and "voice" translate effectively across different cultural contexts.

• Market Research: Identify trends in the global advertising industry and research potential clients or partners in new territories.

• Campaign Analysis: Monitor the performance of our self-promotion efforts and suggest ways to improve our reach and engagement.

What We’re Looking For

• Global Curiosity: You are fascinated by how marketing changes from one country to another. You understand that what works on LinkedIn in London might not work on Xiaohongshu in Shanghai.

• The Communicator: Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).

• Strategic Mindset: You don’t just post for the sake of posting; you think about who is watching and why they should care.

• Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable learning new social media algorithms and using AI marketing tools to help with research and data analysis.

• Proactive Learner: You’re ready to dive into the deep end of international marketing and aren't afraid to test new ideas.
