Job Description

Job Title: Part-time Blood Drawing Technician

Job Responsibilities:

Perform safe and professional venous blood sampling at clinics, medical testing centers or health check institutions, and cooperate with doctors or nurses to complete blood sample collection from patients.
Follow the standard operating procedure (SOP) for pre-blood collection preparation, including verifying patient information, selecting appropriate blood collection vessels, preparing aseptic instruments and environmental disinfection.
Properly label, classify and transfer blood samples to the laboratory, and accurately fill out relevant record forms and electronic system data.
Regularly inventory medical supplies, maintain blood collection equipment and work area cleanliness, and follow hospital infection control and biosafety guidelines.

Requirements:

Holding a Hong Kong-recognized "Phlebotomy Technician Certificate" or "Medical Laboratory Technician (Phlebotomy Specialization)" qualification, with valid registration or accreditation qualification proof.
Have at least 6 months of clinical blood drawing practical experience, familiar with blood drawing techniques and emergency handling for adults and children of different age groups.
Have good communication skills and empathy, be able to communicate clearly in Cantonese, and those who understand Mandarin or English are preferred.
Careful and steady, strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently and strictly abide by medical confidentiality principles and personal data privacy regulations (PDPO).
Moderate physical fitness, able to adapt to standing work, flexible shifts (including weekends and public holidays), and basic computer skills (such as using the Windows system and simple medical software).
