Banquet Receptionist/ Event Helper

[Food and beverage group hires part-time Event Helper]

Responsible for alcohol and food delivery, guest reception and basic services
Handle cash register and simple bookkeeping operations

No experience is necessary (free training)

Hourly rate: 100/hour, weekly salary (experienced workers hourly rate negotiable)

Job Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, guide them to their seats, answer basic inquiries, and assist with handling temporary customer complaints or special needs.
• Support on-site basic service operations, including tableware setting, desktop organization, venue setup assistance, and event flow follow-up.
• Operate the cash register system for simple checkout operations, and assist in verifying the cash and sales receipts for the day to ensure clear and accurate accounting.
• Assist the team in completing the preparation and clean-up work before and after the event, and maintain the site's cleanliness and equipment in place.

Work requirements

• Have good communication skills, be able to interact with guests and colleagues in fluent English, Cantonese as the basic communication language (acceptable bilingual use).
• Positive and proactive attitude, with service awareness and adaptability, able to maintain politeness and focus in high-pressure and multi-task environments.
• Pay attention to personal appearance and professional image, and comply with the group's service standards and confidentiality guidelines.
