Core responsibilities
• Special account and fund full process operation: lead the opening of special account, fund transfer, trade settlement to report the end-to-end operation; co-ordinate the promotion of fund net asset value calculation, subscription and redemption processing, report disclosure and fee management.
•Transaction settlement and valuation management: Confirm and verify special account trading instructions, coordinate with brokers and custodians to ensure accurate settlement and safe custody of funds; independently or coordinate to complete special account portfolio valuation, supervise and re-examine fund NAV calculation and issuance, and compile customized customer and fund periodic reports.
•Customer service and external collaboration: As a special account operation liaison, respond to inquiries from institutions and high net worth customers; coordinate and connect with custodians, administrators, auditors and other external service providers to promote the implementation of cooperation items.
•Cross-department collaboration and process optimization: Provide operational data and support to the investment, finance, and marketing teams; identify operational pain points, propose optimization and automation solutions, improve the operations manual, and enhance standardization levels.
•Compliance risk management: Ensure that the special account and fund operations comply with the investment guidelines, SFC supervision and internal control requirements; implement daily business operations monitoring, cooperate with anti-money laundering and compliance checks to ensure business activities are compliant.
• Net asset value calculation and publication: Collaborate with the administrative agent and custodian, supervise and re-check the calculation and publication of the fund's NAV to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Basic requirements
•Education: Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in finance, accounting, etc.
•Experience: 1 to 3 years of asset management and other financial institution operating experience, with a need to simultaneously have private account and fund operating practical experience.
•Professional: Familiar with SFC and operating standards, and master the core knowledge of settlement and valuation.
•Skills: Proficient in Office, with experience in fund operations systems preferred.
•Language: English communication skills (written + oral).
Priority will be given to those who hold or are pursuing CFA, FRM, HKICS, etc. professional qualifications.
•Have international organization or ultra-high net worth client special account operation experience.
• Familiar with FATCA/CRS operational landing process.
• Understand the operation and valuation of multiple asset classes (stocks, bonds, etc.).
