Job Description

Main responsibilities:

-Responsible for the operation and management of the data center.

-Have experience and track record in handling Uptime certifications.

-Develop engineering and operating procedures, and promote them to on-site personnel.

-Ensure compliance with all local statutory regulations.

-Implement energy conservation/cost control plans.

-Manage all suppliers to conduct equipment maintenance on weekends and review maintenance reports.

-Develop technical service standards.

-Assist the manager in developing key environmental procedures.

-Provide technical solutions to problems.

-Establish a performance and quality measurement system.

-Implement a preventive management plan.

-According to customer requirements, participate in disaster recovery planning.

-Manage building management systems (BMS).

-Regularly update technical drawings, inventory lists, and asset lists, etc.

-Ensure all certificates are valid and arrange for renewal.

-Handle customer IT equipment cabinets and devices migration.

-Perform burn-in testing and leakage current testing on customers' IT equipment.

-Handle sudden events.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering.

-Have at least 3 years of practical experience in data center/telecom industry facility operations.

-Familiar with key facilities, including chiller/cooling tower, CRAC, UPS, STS, generator set, FM200, pre-action sprinkler system, etc.

-Excellent leadership skills, interpersonal and communication skills.

-Proficient computer skills, able to use MS Excel and PowerPoint systems to manage daily activities.

-Good writing and conversational skills in English and Cantonese.

-Hold a valid C(0) class electrical engineering registration certificate.

-Can provide 7 x 24-hour emergency services.
