About the Role
Overview We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to drive our company through a US initial public offering and into life as a public company. The CFO will be the primary owner of financial strategy, SEC and US GAAP readiness, investor communications, and the build‑out of scalable finance and control functions. US IPO experience is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead IPO readiness and execution: manage S‑1 preparation, coordinate external advisors (underwriters, auditors, legal), and ensure timely SEC filings.
Financial reporting and controls: implement and certify robust US GAAP financial statements, SOX‑ready internal controls, and month/quarter close processes.
Investor relations and capital markets: craft the equity story, lead roadshows, manage analyst and investor engagement, and set guidance frameworks.
Strategic finance and forecasting: own long‑range planning, scenario modeling, and post‑IPO financial targets.
Treasury and capital structure: optimize liquidity, debt strategy, and equity plans including executive and broad‑based equity programs.
Team leadership: recruit, mentor, and scale finance, accounting, tax, and FP&A teams to meet public company demands.
Compliance and governance: partner with the board and audit committee to strengthen governance, disclosure controls, and risk management.
Required Qualifications
Proven track record leading at least one successful US IPO as a senior finance leader or CFO.
Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
Experience managing external advisors (investment banks, auditors, securities counsel) through an IPO process.
10+ years senior finance leadership
Strong communication skills for investor and board engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with US exchanges (NYSE or NASDAQ) and public company investor relations.
