Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the full process of import and export trade follow-up operations, including the drafting, review, signature and archiving management of purchase contracts and sales contracts, ensuring that the terms comply with company policies and international trade customs (such as INCOTERMS).
Handle bank-related matters, including letter of credit (L/C) opening and review, receipt and payment operations, preparation and submission of settlement documents, and regular verification of bank deposit details and fund flows.
Execute daily financial accounting work, according to accounting principles to log import and export related income and expenses, fees and accounts receivable and payable, and assist monthly closing and report consolidation.
Coordinate logistics and shipping arrangements, coordinate freight forwarders and carriers to confirm sailing dates, book containers, and loading schedules, track goods in transit, and ensure timely delivery.
Handle import and export customs clearance matters, prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, origin certificates, bills of lading, etc. a full set of customs clearance documents, maintain communication with customs brokers or customs, and promptly handle inspections and clearance abnormalities.

Work requirements

Have at least 2 years of trade follow-up, foreign trade business or international logistics-related work experience, familiar with the whole process of import and export and risk control points.
Proficient in English writing and basic oral communication skills, able to handle English contracts, letters of credit and customs clearance documents independently; those with basic Cantonese or Mandarin communication skills are preferred.
Proficient in EXCEL, ERP systems (such as SAP or Kingdee) and common office software, with good data processing and document management skills.
Careful and meticulous, with a strong sense of responsibility and time awareness, able to follow up on multiple orders and effectively respond to sudden situations (such as changes in shipping dates, incorrect documents, and customs clearance delays)
Understand the Customs Classification of Imported and Exported Goods, the Foreign Exchange Management Regulations, and the basic import and export laws and regulations of major trading countries (such as the United States, the European Union, and Southeast Asia), those with a customs broker qualification certificate or an international trade documentation certificate are especially recommended.
