Design of primary school mathematics courses

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall standardization of the primary school mathematics thinking course, including the formulation of annual and phased research and development plans, the establishment of a sustainable optimization research and development quality evaluation mechanism, and the systematic localization adjustment based on Hong Kong's local education policies, curriculum frameworks, and student learning characteristics.

• Closely combine classroom teaching practice, teacher feedback and student learning data, design logical, hierarchical and interesting mathematical thinking and teaching research products.

• Lead the planning, development and quality control of teaching and research products, and coordinate teaching, technical and operational teams to ensure that the content meets the Hong Kong Primary School Mathematics Curriculum Goals and school-based actual needs, and be fully responsible for the professionalism and applicability of the final delivery results.

Work requirements

• Hold a recognized university bachelor's degree or above; have five years of teaching and research experience in local Hong Kong primary schools.

• Proficient in Cantonese (mother tongue level), Mandarin (fluent), and familiar with the Hong Kong Education Bureau's latest curriculum development direction and evaluation framework.

• Have the ability to independently plan and implement the construction of a teaching and research system, and have previously led the development of school-based courses and regional teacher professional development projects.

• Have excellent logical thinking, structured expression and cross-departmental collaboration skills, be able to clearly articulate teaching philosophy, course design principles and data-driven decision-making basis, and be good at integrating internal and external resources to push projects into implementation.
