Hong Kong secondary school mathematics teacher (international school, good at English and Mandarin)

<p>Job Requirements: </p><p>● Bachelor or above in Science or Mathematics, Education or related studies</p><p>● Valid teaching certification (such as PGDE or equivalent)</p><p>● Fluent teaching in Putonghua is a MUST, with proficiency in English & Cantonese</p><p>● At least three years of secondary school Science or Mathematics teaching experience </p><p>● Familiar with the Hong Kong secondary science or mathematics curriculum (including HKDSE)</p><p>● Have extensive experience in pastoral care and able to provide individualized support tailored to students' learning differences</p><p>● Responsible, patient, and innovative in teaching, with the ability to collaborate on extracurricular activities Job Responsibilities:</p><p> ● Responsible for teaching HKDSE science or mathematics, using Putonghua as the medium of instruction</p><p>● Design and develop teaching materials to enhance students' interest in learning and their application abilities </p><p>● Provide after-school pastoral care and academic support to help students overcome learning difficulties </p><p>● Participating in subject group meetings, teaching seminars, and relevant school activities </p><p>● Communicate with parents about students' learning progress and establish a positive collaborative relationship</p><p></p><p>Job Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Responsible for teaching Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) mathematics courses in Mandarin, ensuring students master core knowledge and application skills</li><li>Design and develop inspiring teaching materials based on students’ learning characteristics, enhance students’ learning interest and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Provide after-school tutoring and care, and give appropriate academic guidance and psychological support to students with individual learning differences</li><li>Actively participate in department meetings, teaching seminars and other relevant school activities to promote teaching professional development</li><li>Regularly communicate with parents about students’ learning progress, establish good school-family cooperation, and promote students’ comprehensive growth together</li></ul><p> Work requirements</p><ul><li>Holding a bachelor's degree or above in science, mathematics, education or related fields</li><li>Have valid teaching qualifications (such as PGDE or equivalent)</li><li>Must be able to teach fluently in Mandarin, while also having good English skills; those who understand Cantonese are preferred</li><li>At least three years of teaching experience in local secondary schools in mathematics or science</li><li>Familiar with the Hong Kong secondary school mathematics curriculum and HKDSE evaluation requirements</li><li>With rich student counseling experience, we can provide individualized support to meet the different learning needs of students</li><li>Work seriously and responsibly, patient and creative, with a team spirit, and willing to participate in the planning and guidance of extracurricular activities</li></ul>
