Two-phase cold plate R&D engineer

Duties include:

3. Lead the development and review of manufacturing process solutions (such as welding, mechanical processing, 3D printing, etc.), responsible for the first sample's trial production and follow-up, and solving process problems during the trial production.

4. Design DV/PV test plans (performance, reliability, environmental adaptability, etc.), analyze test data, evaluate the achievement of design goals, and lead the improvement and iteration of design defects.

5. Productization and delivery Compile a full set of technical documents (BOM, drawings, specifications) to support product transfer and volume production ramp-up, and provide technical support to production, quality, and customer endpoints.

Job Requirements

1. Master's degree or above, with a background in engineering thermophysics, mechanical engineering, fluid mechanics, and thermal engineering; with experience in two-phase cold plate or flow boiling structure design;

2. Have solid foundations in fluid mechanics and heat transfer, strong flow and heat transfer experimental experience, research topics or project experience related to them;

3. Proficient in SolidWorks, UG NX, CATIA, etc., at least one solid design software, with complex assembly design capabilities. Familiar with welding (soldering, diffusion welding), mechanical processing, 3D printing (metal) and other cold plate-related manufacturing processes, and understand their design limitations and cost impacts. Have the ability to use ANSYS, Fluent, Star-CCM+ etc. to perform basic thermal flow analysis, and be able to have efficient conversations with simulation engineers.

5. Familiar with the thermal design standards and reliability requirements of the electronic or server industry. Those with stacked manufacturing (3D printing) application experience in the cooling field are preferred. Knowledge of Icepak, FloTHERM, etc. professional electronic cooling simulation software is preferred.
