Public Offering Fund Fixed Income Fund Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Systematically analyze macroeconomic indicators, monetary policy direction, fiscal trends, and geopolitical risks, combine the interest rate and credit spread model, evaluate the market cycle position and dynamically adjust duration, leverage, and bond species allocation.

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive credit risk management framework, including issuer fundamental review, industry sentiment assessment, stress testing and liquidity monitoring mechanism, to ensure the portfolio meets regulatory compliance and internal risk warning standards.

• Regularly compile bilingual Chinese and English investment reports (including performance attribution, position analysis, risk exposure, and future outlook), providing clear, timely, and insightful information disclosure to the internal control committee, compliance department, and institutional/reretail investors.

• As a key important person (KIP) participate in the company's core decision-making process, lead the fixed income team capability building, and cooperate with the research, trading and operations departments to promote process standardization and digitalization upgrade.

Work requirements

• Bachelor's or above degree in finance, economics, accounting or related fields; a master's or doctoral degree is preferred.

• Have at least five years of practical experience in managing fixed income investments for public funds in the Hong Kong or international markets, familiar with the SFC's Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds Code and Securities and Futures Ordinance related compliance requirements.

• Applicants with a CFA Charter or actively preparing for CFA Level III with equivalent professional certification (such as FRM, CAIA) are preferred.

• Have excellent quantitative analysis skills, familiar with the use of Bloomberg, FactSet, RiskMetrics or internal risk systems for data modeling and scenario simulation; those with a basic knowledge of Python or R language are preferred.

• Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, able to write professional documents, chair cross-departmental meetings and communicate strategic plans to international investors in the three languages.
