Financial Controller – Family Office

About the Role

We are looking for a high-calibre Financial Controller to join our Family Office.
This role will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of accounting, financial management, and investment support for family members and their related entities.
The ideal candidate should possess solid accounting expertise, strong tax planning capability, and a strategic mindset in managing family wealth, assets, and investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting, financial reporting, and audit review for family members and associated companies
• Handle and plan individual and corporate tax filings, and design optimal tax-efficient structures and strategies
• Support the formulation and execution of family-level financial and asset allocation strategies
• Supervise and monitor insurance, banking facilities, property transactions, and related investment arrangements
• Liaise and maintain close collaboration with external professionals including accountants, lawyers, bankers, insurance advisors, and property agents, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive and confidential database for financial records, documents, reports, and contracts
• Provide regular financial, tax, and cash flow analysis reports to family management for strategic decision-making

Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA / ACCA qualification preferred
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial control, tax planning, or investment support
• Previous experience in a Family Office, Private Investment, or Wealth Management environment is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of taxation, investment structures, and asset management
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
