Chinese specialist teacher [full-time] K2-P6 level

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement targeted Chinese language teaching activities for students from K2 to P6, covering reading, writing, listening, speaking and basic language skills, to ensure learning outcomes and progress meet the course goals and students’ personal development plans.

• Assist students in completing daily homework and special assignments, conduct meticulous corrections, provide specific, constructive and easy-to-understand written and oral feedback, guide students to reflect on the causes of their mistakes and build their ability to self-correction.

• Based on students’ learning performance, cognitive characteristics and interest orientation, develop and continuously optimize personalized learning plans (ILP), covering short-term goal setting, teaching resource selection, progress tracking and effectiveness evaluation, etc.

• Complete execution of teaching process: including pre-class preparation (textbook compilation, lesson plan writing, multimedia resource integration), classroom teaching (using interactive, task-oriented and differentiated teaching strategies), post-class recording (learning journal, progress report, parent communication summary), and regular learning review.

• Completely understand the academic performance of the students under your responsibility, through the parallel implementation of formative assessment and summative assessment, analyze learning bottlenecks, adjust teaching rhythm, content depth and support methods in a timely manner, and collaborate with the school or curriculum team to optimize teaching solutions.

Work requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Chinese, Chinese language and literature, journalism and communication, creative writing, education (Chinese direction) or related humanities field is preferred; those with a valid Hong Kong teacher registration certificate or local primary school teaching qualifications are especially good.

• Proficient in Cantonese and Mandarin, with excellent oral expression and written language application skills, able to communicate knowledge in a clear, vivid and emotionally engaging way, and good at stimulating students’ learning motivation and critical thinking ability through questioning, discussion and scenario design.

• High sense of responsibility, empathy, and teaching enthusiasm, patient companionship with students of different learning styles and ability levels, and stable cooperation with flexible scheduling of 5 days per week (Tuesday to Saturday) and a mixed work mode.

• Have good time management and administrative execution ability, be able to complete teaching case preparation, homework grading, learning record and cross-department collaboration documents on time, pay attention to details, follow teaching rules and data confidentiality principles.
