1. Capital operations and financing
Funding:
IPO:
Merger and Acquisition (M&A): Evaluate potential acquisition targets, conduct due diligence (DD) and lead integration.
2. Strategic planning and value management
Financial forecasting (FP&A): Develop annual budgets to ensure the company's cash flow (Burn Rate) can support the business to run through the profit model.
Capital allocation: Decide where to spend money (e.g., on R&D or on marketing), and use data analysis to give ROI (return on investment) advice.
3. Risk control and compliance
Financial compliance: Ensure the company complies with international accounting standards (such as IFRS or US GAAP).
Tax planning: Carry out reasonable tax arrangements between Hong Kong, the mainland and overseas entities.
Internal Control: Establish anti-fraud mechanisms to protect asset safety.
