Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of events by sourcing vendors and locations, and gathering necessary information for quotations.
- Ensure flawless execution of events from set-up to tear-down.
- Prepare and distribute press releases in a timely manner, adhering to brand guidelines and embargo dates.
- Build relationships with press and regularly liaise with journalists for enhanced PR coverage.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of gifting exercises for clients and business partners.
- Follow up on the development of corporate gifts, from brainstorming to final orders.
- Support the preparation of pre and post-event reports, as well as post-campaign reports.
- Contribute to clienteling reports by uploading data onto the CEM platform and conducting competitor analysis.
- Liaise with shopping malls for in-mall advertising, promotions, and campaigns.
- Assist in developing campaigns in partnership with shopping malls.
- Coordinate with banks or corporate partners for campaign collaborations.
- Communicate new campaign mechanics internally.
- Follow up with internal booking systems to ensure marketing support for brand partners.
- Coordinate product loans and transfers for photoshoots.
- Facilitate photoshoots as needed.
- Perform other assigned responsibilities on an ad-hoc basis as projects arise.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Marketing, Business, or Mass Communication.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in marketing, events, or communications with an omnichannel or direct-to-consumer brand.
- Experience in liaising with vendors and negotiation.
- Hands-on experience in campaign planning, execution, and project/event management.
- Prior experience in the watches or luxury retail industry is a plus.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Familiar with digital marketing, SEM, SEO, email marketing, and programmatic advertising.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and execute tasks efficiently.
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
- Passionate about the luxury and retail industry.
- Positive, adaptable, and collaborative attitude.
- Resourceful with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Energetic and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Fast learner, eager to develop new skills.
- Willing to work on weekends or outside office hours as needed for events.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Good command of spoken and written Mandarin is an advantage.
