Public cloud migration engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of migration solutions, quickly respond to customers’ technical needs and sudden issues in various stages of planning, evaluation, migration, validation, and optimization

• Coordinate and integrate front-end delivery teams, back-end product development and technical support resources to ensure consistent technical decisions, complete information context transmission, and closed-loop problem handling

• Strictly follow the cloud migration standard process (including Discovery, Assessment, Design, Migration, Validation, Optimization), actively identify architecture risk, compatibility risk, data consistency risk and business continuity risk at each stage, and report and push for intervention in real time

• Accept customer technical consultation and problem complaints, ensure that the first response time is ≤15 minutes and the key problem resolution time is ≤4 hours, and be fully responsible for the upgrade path and processing nodes

• Continuously monitor system performance, network latency, application availability, and data integrity during the migration process, and output a visualized migration report and subsequent optimization suggestions

Work requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Engineering or related disciplines; with 1 to 3 years of cloud technology support, system administration, DevOps or SRE practical experience

• Familiar with mainstream public cloud platforms (such as AWS/Azure/GCP/Aliyun/Tencent Cloud) core services (compute, storage, network, database, container, security) and their migration methodological frameworks (such as CloudEndure/AWS DMS/Azure Migrate etc. tool chains)

• Proficient in Linux and Windows system management, performance tuning, log analysis, and automated script development (Shell/Python/Powershell)

• Have solid network foundation: deeply understand DNS resolution mechanism, TCP/IP protocol stack behavior, HTTP/HTTPS communication model, VPN tunnel principle, and have practical complex network fault diagnosis and troubleshooting experience

• Have clear logical thinking and structured expression ability, be able to communicate technical information, report solutions and collaborate across teams in Cantonese, Mandarin and fluent English

• High sense of responsibility and customer-oriented awareness, able to withstand project delivery pressure, and maintain high efficiency and proactive collaboration in a hybrid office mode
