Job Description
Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the head chef and senior chefs with daily meal preparation, including food washing, cutting and matching, marinating and pre-processing, etc. basic operations
  • Follow instructions to execute simple cooking tasks, such as frying, stir-frying, steaming, and boiling, to ensure that the final product meets the menu standards and quality requirements
  • Responsible for cleaning and organizing the kitchen area, including the worktop, cutting board, knives, stove, and storage area, and strictly following food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Support the team in completing holiday packages, banquets or special activities, with flexible scheduling and temporary deployment

Work requirements

  • Have basic Chinese and Western cooking concepts and practical experience, welcome those with culinary science degrees or those who have interned in restaurants to apply
  • Familiar with common food characteristics, preservation methods and basic knife skills, able to complete vegetable, meat, seafood and other classifications independently
  • Pay attention to personal hygiene and work safety, understand HACCP principles and kitchen cleaning and disinfection processes, and have no adverse sanitation records
  • Have good communication skills, be able to clearly understand oral instructions, and work collaboratively with colleagues in front and back of the house
