Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Associate Business Development Manager to drive the commercial growth of Deep Soul App, an innovative AI-powered mobile app focused on emotional well-being and self-discovery. As a key team member in our early-stage startup, you will identify and secure partnerships, execute promotional events, propose business strategies, and build sustainable revenue streams. Responsibilities:
1. Business Development and Partnership Expansion:
o Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with organizations, advertisers, and collaborators.
o Propose and design customized commercial collaboration plans tailored to the app’s AI features.
o Negotiate partnership terms to secure advertising placements, co-promotions, and value-added services.
2. Event and Seminar Planning:
o Plan and execute brand promotion events, community seminars, and joint activities with partners to boost brand visibility.
o Manage event budgets, vendors, and timelines to deliver successful outcomes aligned with business goals.
o Gather feedback and insights to refine future events and inform strategic improvements.
3. Market Research and Business Strategy:
o Conduct market analysis on competitors, trends, and user needs.
o Propose and develop business development strategies, including optimized revenue models (e.g., advertising, subscriptions, revenue sharing).
o Actively contribute ideas to enhance long-term growth and monetization.
4. Cross-Department Collaboration:
o Work closely with product, marketing, and tech teams to integrate business opportunities into app features.
o Provide market insights to support product optimization and roadmap planning.
5. Performance Tracking and Analysis:
o Set and track KPIs (e.g., partnership numbers, advertising revenue).
o Use data tools to analyze outcomes and continuously improve approaches.
6. Funding and Resource Exploration (Support Role):
o Participate in researching and applying for government grants, startup funds, and other financing opportunities.
o Assist in exploring angel investment and growth funding channels.
Requirements:
1. Education and Experience:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
o At least 2 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, event planning, or marketing; 3+ years or tech/app industry experience preferred.
2. Skills:
o Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
o Proven ability in event planning, budget management, and execution.
o Proficient in market analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics) with solid business acumen.
o Basic knowledge of digital marketing and ad placements (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads).
o Familiar with AI media tools (e.g., Leonardo.ai, Midjourney, Kling, Minimax, Capcut, Canva) and office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Gama ) for preparing proposals and materials.
3. Language Proficiency:
o Fluent in Cantonese (native level) and Traditional Chinese.
o Proficient in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) for Greater China and international outreach.
4. Personal Traits:
o Strong execution mindset with proactive strategic thinking – able to propose initiatives and see the big picture.
o Self-motivated, excellent project management, and able to multitask in a dynamic startup environment.
o Passion for emerging technologies, AI, and wellness/mental health innovations.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary range: HKD $25,000 – $32,000 per month (depending on experience and track record), plus attractive performance bonuses.
