QA Engineer (Global IT Solutions Provider| Automation | Node.JS / Python)

DNA Recruit Partners is now partnering with a global IT Solutions firm; They are seeking a QA Engineer to enhance our software quality assurance processes within an Agile framework. This role involves developing automated tests, troubleshooting issues, and providing operational support for our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the software quality assurance lifecycle in an Agile environment.

2. Design and implement automated UI and functional tests.

3. Identify and resolve issues in the systems being tested.

4. Assess and enhance system performance.

5. Offer tier 2 operational support and engineering for various large-scale distributed software applications.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.

2. Proficiency in Node.js and Python.

3. Strong grasp of software testing principles and methodologies.

4. Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, such as Behave.

5. Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

7. Self-driven and capable of working autonomously.

8. Knowledge of CI/CD processes is a plus.

9. Prior experience in QA or release management is highly preferred.
