Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Arrive at the designated location on time according to the customer's appointment, communicate with the customer on the construction plan, explain the technical process, and obtain necessary construction permits;
  • Execute fiber optic splicing, termination, splitter configuration and indoor dark pipe/bright line installation, etc. professional processes, ensure compliance with the Telecommunications Authority (OFCA) technical specifications and service provider engineering standards;

Work requirements

  • Able to independently read building floor plans and wiring diagrams, understand the principles of indoor and outdoor fiber optic cable routing, understand PON architecture, optical attenuation calculation and OTDR basic application;
  • Have good Cantonese communication skills, be able to clearly explain technical details to customers of different age groups; understanding Mandarin or English is an added condition;
