Job Description

Requirements include: More than 20 years of high-level management experience, familiar with the operations of various departments, and excellent leadership, financial management, marketing and crisis handling skills. Educational qualifications are often required to be related to the profession, and English proficiency is necessary to meet the demand for internationalization. Its core responsibilities include achieving operating targets, improving service quality, handling customer complaints, and team motivation.

Work experience and background:

Typically, at least 3-8 years of high-level hotel management experience (such as department manager, on-site manager, etc.) is required.

Have relevant professional (travel, management, market marketing, etc.) background.

Familiar with hotel SOP, rooms, dining and front desk service procedures.

Financial and budget management: Responsible for profit and loss, formulating annual operating plans, and ensuring financial targets are met.

Marketing: Have a forward-looking perspective, be able to formulate market strategies and enhance brand image.

Leadership and communication: Strong team building and motivation skills, able to effectively communicate and handle cross-departmental affairs.

Language and professional skills:

High language requirements, fluent in English and local language, to meet the needs of business or international travelers.

Proficient in using hotel management systems (PMS) and office software.

Attitude and style:

Have a service awareness and be able to do walk-around management (regularly inspect the site).

Have a broad business perspective.

Job Title: Hotel General Manager
Job Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensively coordinate the daily operation of the hotel, lead and achieve key operational targets such as annual revenue, profit, and service quality;

  • Plan and execute overall service strategy, continuously optimize service processes and standards in various departments such as rooms, dining, front desk and logistics support, and enhance customer satisfaction and brand reputation;

  • Lead customer complaint handling and crisis management, quickly coordinate cross-departmental resources, and effectively resolve sudden events and public relations risks;

  • Develop and implement annual operating plans and financial budgets, monitor actual cash flows, ensure profit and loss balance and investment returns;

  • Push market marketing strategies, analyze competitive landscapes and market trends, and enhance hotel occupancy rate, average room price, and market share;

  • Establish a high-performance team culture, through walk-around management to penetrate the front line, regularly evaluate talent development needs, and promote training, evaluation and incentive mechanisms;

  • Proficient in the use of hotel management systems (PMS) and various office software, integrating data to support operational decision-making and process improvement.


Work requirements:

  • Have more than 20 years of high-level hotel management experience (such as department manager, on-site manager or vice president), those who have accumulated more than 20 years of comprehensive hotel industry practical training are especially preferred;

  • Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, able to communicate at a high level in business, external negotiations, and international team collaboration;

  • Familiar with hotel standard operating procedures (SOP), ISO service management framework and international brand hotel operation mode;

  • Have solid financial analysis skills, be able to independently compile budgets, interpret profit and loss statements and cash flow statements;

  • Having strong leadership and cross-departmental coordination skills, good at coalescing diverse background teams, and maintaining clear judgment and stable execution power under pressure;

  • Have a service-oriented mindset and on-site management habits, pay attention to details, proactive inspections, and immediate responses;

  • Must be a permanent resident of Hong Kong, or hold a valid "High-end Talent Pass" (High Talent Pass), "Outstanding Talent Entry Scheme" (Outstanding Talent Pass), or other legal work permit in Hong Kong.


Benefits:

  • Monthly salary range: HKD80,000 to 130,000, negotiable;

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm;

  • Working location: Wellington Street, Central;

  • Position type: Full-time, office work.
