Strategic and Compliance Director

Main responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive strategic development plan for the company, including short-term, medium-term and long-term goals

• Supervise the establishment and implementation of the company's compliance management system, ensuring compliance with the requirements of IA, SFC and other regulatory agencies

• Responsible for communicating and coordinating with insurance regulatory authorities, handling regulatory inquiries and reporting matters

• Establish and improve internal risk management systems, identify, assess and monitor business risks

• Lead the compliance team, provide professional compliance training and guidance to each business department

• Review and approve the launch of new products and services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Process customer complaints and dispute events, and develop response plans

• Track industry regulatory changes and adjust company policies and procedures in a timely manner

Job Requirements

Education and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, finance, law, business management or related professional preferred

• Hold IIQE, CIB, CFP, etc. insurance or financial professional qualification certificates

• Have an insurance broker license (Broker License) or relevant management qualifications

Experience requirements

• More than 8 years of insurance industry experience, with at least 3 years of senior management experience

• Familiar with the Hong Kong insurance industry supervision framework, including the Insurance Ordinance, GL and other regulations

• Have successful leadership experience in compliance teams

• Have practical experience in handling regulatory inquiries, internal audits

Skill requirements

• Excellent Chinese and English communication skills, able to write legal documents and reports fluently

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, familiar with insurance business systems

• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, able to make accurate judgments under pressure

• Good leadership and team management skills
