Web3 Compliance Manager

Responsibilities:

1.Regulatory Compliance:

• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments related to blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 technologies.

• Ensure the company’s operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate compliance risks.

2.Risk Management:

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities.

• Monitor emerging trends in Web3 and collaborate with internal teams to address risks.

3.Training and Education:

• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees and stakeholders.

• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on compliance-related matters.

4.Reporting and Documentation:

• Submit regulatory reports and maintain compliance records.

• Conduct internal audits to ensure policy adherence.

5.Stakeholder Engagement:

• Liaise with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other external stakeholders.

6.Incident Management:

• Address compliance incidents, correct issues.

• Report significant compliance incidents to senior management and relevant authorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CRCM) is a plus.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably within the blockchain, cryptocurrency, or fintech industry.

• In-depth knowledge of global regulatory frameworks governing blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 technologies.

• Strong understanding of anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), and data privacy regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and smart contracts.

• Familiarity with compliance software and tools.

• Proven track record of managing compliance in a startup or high-growth environment.
