IT Technician/Senior IT Assistant

The Centre for Comparative Medicine Research is a rapidly expanding, AAALAC International accredited, academic research-support centre of the LKS Faculty of Medicine at HKU. We are committed to the provision of high-quality laboratory animals, well-equipped animal holding facilities, and professional services to support the leading role of HKU in research and teaching. Responsibilities:

• Provide helpdesk support to users through phone calls and emails;

• Assist in software installation and video conferencing;

• Provide technical support, website development, and assist in developing the IT infrastructure to support new systems; and

• Assist in ad hoc projects assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

• Higher diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines. Fresh graduates will also be considered;

• Knowledge of Javascript, PHP, PHP Framework, Python, HTML, Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate, AWS, Canva ;

• Good documentation skills and attention to details; and

• Good critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
