Custom Manager

<p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Customs Manager</strong> to oversee import/export operations and ensure compliance with customs regulations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling meat imports, managing documentation, and liaising with customs authorities to facilitate smooth logistics.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Ensure compliance with Hong Kong customs regulations for meat imports and exports</p></li><li><p>Prepare and manage customs documentation, including import permits and declarations</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs officials to ensure timely clearance</p></li><li><p>Monitor tariff classifications, duties, and taxes applicable to imported meat products</p></li><li><p>Handle disputes or delays related to customs clearance and resolve regulatory issues</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs filings, and compliance reports</p></li><li><p>Stay updated on changes in import/export laws and advise management accordingly</p></li><li><p>Optimize customs processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's/Higher Diploma degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field</p></li><li><p>2+ years of experience in customs management, preferably in the food or meat industry</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of Hong Kong customs laws, import tariffs, and trade regulations</p></li><li><p>Experience working with customs brokers and government agencies</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in customs software and documentation systems</p></li><li><p>Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously</p></li></ul>
