Since the establishment of Hong Kong and Macau Evangelical Church Co., Ltd. in 1993, the organization has continued to grow and develop, officially accepting ten social welfare service units transferred by Hong Kong and Macau Evangelical Church on April 1, 2000, and officially changing its name to Hong Kong and Macau Evangelical Church Social Service on March 6, 2019, marking its professionalism and commitment in providing social services. The organization is mainly funded by the Social Welfare Department and the Community Chest, and is dedicated to showing professional and loving care for the community, promoting the comprehensive development of individuals and communities. Hong Kong Baptist Church Social Services, rooted in Hong Kong since 1951, is committed to providing diversified social welfare services based on Christian values and the love of Jesus Christ. The organization takes it upon itself to witness to Christ's teachings and offer high-quality service to meet the physical, emotional, social, educational, and spiritual needs of people across different age groups within the community. Hong Kong Baptist Church Social Services operates multiple service units including six senior centers, one children and youth center, three kindergartens, and self-sustaining senior centers, covering various aspects of social services such as elderly care, child and youth services, early education, and community development. Since its establishment as the International Baptist Church Limited in 1993, this institution has continued to grow and expand, officially receiving ten social welfare service units transferred from the International Baptist Church in April 2000, and formally renaming itself as Hong Kong Baptist Church Social Services on March 6, 2019, signifying its professional commitment and dedication in the field of social services. This organization primarily receives funding from the Social Welfare Department and the Charities Fund, striving to care for the community with professionalism and love, promoting holistic development for individuals and communities.
